The concept of 'Zen Box' originated from a team of good friends. The driving force behind the concept was a realization of an absence of affordable and quality Japanese food in the Minneapolis skyway.

By harmonizing the traditional and contemporary aspects of Japanese cuisine, we hope to infuse the concept of 'restaurant-quality Japanese food at fast-food prices' into the mainstream by offering a fast, scrumptious Japanese lunch at a reasonable price to the hectic crowd of downtown Minneapolis.
